Diamonds are formed under pressure. So was I.
Known as Znichka Ray. I create rare things. Every photograph I release is a moment of the wild that will never happen again. Every artwork is a piece of my soul, cut and polished by everything I have lived through.
Biography
The pressure.
I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Francisk Skorina University in Belarus and served eight years in the police as assistant platoon commander, leading more than fifteen men. In August 2020 I refused to accept a lie and stood with my people for truth and justice. I paid for it with everything I had: my career, my home, my savings and the people I called family. I was threatened with prison. I was left alone, with a small child in my arms.
The fire.
I fled to Ukraine and started from scratch, until the air grew heavy with the first signs of a coming war. Then Greece: years of hardship and closed doors. To survive, I taught myself to draw on my phone with my finger, and learned English and crypto at the same time. In January 2023, in the middle of a bear market, I stepped into Web3. I waited hours for two minutes to present my art. I was scammed, and no one helped. I did not stop.
The diamond.
Today I am a full-time artist. My work has been shown at 15 exhibitions in 9 countries on 4 continents — from São Paulo, Dubai and Bali to the main stage of Art Basel Miami and a billboard in New York City. It has been published in AGUILAR Art & NFT Magazine and ArtistCloseup, featured by 24 Hours of Art alongside Beeple and XCOPY, and in 2024 I was featured on the main page of Forbes Web3. More than 150 collectors and artists hold my work.
The edge of the world.
Then I packed my whole life into a few suitcases once again. With my child beside me, I took a forty-hour journey from Athens to the other side of the world. This time it was not an escape. It was my choice and my freedom. Today I live in Patagonia, among wild winds, endless skies and birds that have never seen a city.
The lens.
In December 2025 I picked up a camera, and found my true language. Within months my first photography collection, Flyover Journal, was released on Transient. I am not a beginner who got lucky. Everything I lived through taught me to see. The camera simply caught up.
Pressure did not break me. It gave me clarity. It is the same patience that keeps me still for hours, waiting for a bird to become itself in the light. A wild bird will not repeat its flight for you. You either see it, or it is gone forever, and I don't miss it.
The craft.
I combine an artist's eye with a strategist's mind. I hold a law degree from Francisk Skorina University in Belarus and studied Marketing and Communications online with the International Business Management Institute in Germany. Now I am studying Multimedia Design. I speak Belarusian, Russian, English and Greek, I am learning Spanish, and I know Latin. I don't only create images. I build their story.
And when the camera rests, my hands keep creating. I crochet and knit amigurumi, small soft creatures made loop by loop. It takes the same patience as waiting for a bird, and the same tenderness I put into every work.
The horizon.
I used to be ViGay. Now I am Znichka, a spark that shines in the darkest sky, rooted in my Belarusian heritage. My next horizon is clear: National Geographic. My goal is to bring the wild world to millions of people, one rare moment at a time.
Part of the story
Own a diamond. Become part of the story.
When you collect my work, you don't buy an image. You take a place in a story of courage, loss and rising again, and your name stays in the history of that work forever.
The people who believed in me when I had nothing are the reason I am here. The people who collect me now are the ones who will be there when this story reaches its biggest stage.
The story is still being written. The best chapters are ahead, and I want you in them.
